Velux Skylight Warranty
VELUX has been committed to producing high-quality and reliable skylights for over 75 years. Even after installation, we stand behind our products with an industry-leading warranty as the world leader in roof windows and skylights. Our exclusive flashing systems have been proven in installations and climates worldwide to prevent leaks and keep you comfortable. However, this limited warranty does not apply to VELUX products purchased before January 1, 2010.

Our deck mounted skylights come with an industry-first 10-year “No Leak” installation warranty that covers correct skylight and appropriate flashing installations (product and labor) against leaks, regardless of who installed the skylight. We also offer a 20/10/5-year limited product warranty for specific product coverage issues. We also offer a hail breakage warranty for VELUX skylights with Clean, Quiet & Safe glass only, which guarantees that they will not crack or break due to hail for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase after January 1, 2014.
To obtain warranty protection, please contact your builder, remodeler, or installer, who should inspect the skylight and installation to verify that installation is according to our instructions. Most consumer concerns are resolved at this step. If there is still a concern, have the builder, remodeler, or installer contact our customer service department directly, including your name, address, phone number, product model number, and description of the product concern and attempts to address it. A trained customer service team member will work to solve your concern over the phone in many cases. However, it is the end user’s responsibility to mitigate and minimize any damage that may be caused by the Covered Product.
